A new year dawns and already I'm looking forward to more 'Creative Kitchen' workshops across the UK. I'm also hoping to link up with Tessy Britton and her Travelling Pantry - both workshops only loosely linked to food and more about creativity, community, big society (ugh! how I hate that phrase) You can see more about Travelling Pantry on Tessy's two sites Thriving Too www.thrivingtoo.typepad.com and Social Spaces www.socialspaces.org. A big thanks to everyone who helped put the Creative Kitchen Toolkit together and contributed some wonderful ideas and inspirations to the 'cookbook' and creativity4health website www.creativity4health.com , although the three year project has now officially ended the workshops continue and the legacy website lives on!

I'll be keeping an eye on OYAPs Stepping Up - creative Young Leaders scheme, having had the pleasure of mentoring one of its first tranche of young creatives last year - Rebecca Ritchie-Timms who is currently working for Music Oxford, and my work with the dynamic 'Firestarter' Ruth Jones and The Unit continues as we work on a group of young people trialling a new social enterprise qualification, set up a youth cafe and continue our general youth promotions and cultural activism work at The Unit HQ, 17 Endless Street in Salisbury www.unitspace.org.uk.

My social media world has expanded beyond the boundaries of the space-time-continuum in 2009 and I'm looking forward to meeting more of my twitter network and maybe working in real-time with a few of my 'socmed' colleagues. I was also invited to join Peer Productions advisory board last year, I have been a big fan of their work for some years now and I'm excited about supporting Nina, Jason and Claire onto bigger, better work with young people in 2011
